We're PlumbHeatCall, a small, family-run plumbing and heating business based in Peterborough. There's no call centre and no salesman. When you ring 07760 995155 you get one of us, and the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up to do it.

We started this because of how many people told us the same story: an engineer who didn't turn up, a price that crept up halfway through, or a boiler fitted in a rush with pipework running everywhere. So we do the opposite. We come and look at the house, explain what we'd recommend and why, and give you a fixed price in writing before anything gets touched. If a repair is the better bet than a new boiler, we'll say so, we'd rather have you as a customer for ten years than sell you something you don't need today.

On the tools we're fussy about two things: safety and tidiness. Every gas job is carried out under our Gas Safe registration (633760) and properly tested. Dust sheets go down, the pipework gets done neatly in copper, and the old boiler, packaging and rubbish leave with us. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there, other than the fact your heating works.

We fit mainly Worcester Bosch and Viessmann because they last and the warranties are worth having, and we register those warranties for you so you're not chasing paperwork. Every new boiler goes in with a free wireless thermostat, magnetic filter, chemical flush, limescale reducer and first-year service included.

We're local, so we're not driving in from another county when your heating packs up in January.
